Arctic Cat Prowler
Loaded To The Grills.
Prowler XTX 700 H1 EFI
The Prowler 700 H1 EFI XTX is top-of-the-line. The heavy-duty, cast aluminum rims are a dead giveaway. As your eye wanders north, all the cues are there. This UTV has the muscle to stand its ground. Under the center console lives one of Arctic Cat's newest H1-series engines. The 700 H1 EFI is big iron for the 21st century.
It starts easy, runs smooth and sips fuel. It's also strong as an ox. The 4-valve hemispherical head design creates gobs of power. The new rear differential is designed to unlock as you turn the vehicle. It allows the rear tires to spin at varying speeds to avoid tearing up your turf. Arctic Cat has also reduced noise levels, thanks to new advances in air-intake and exhaust systems. The XTX (pictured, right) also features tilt steering, a rearview mirror and front bumper trim. Put it to work. Put it to play. It'll do you proud. Guaranteed.
Silver Color Combination. It's actually an automotive-style paint applied to the same-color hood and fenders. Get a load of the polished aluminum rims with painted inlays. (Available in silver only.)
H1 Engine. The H in H1 stands for hemispherical combustion chamber. The primary advantage of this design is more complete, more efficient combustion. Electronic fuel injection takes the smooth-running engine to a higher level by adjusting for climate and altitude. EFI assures effortless starts, even on cold mornings.
Tilt Steering and More. Rack-and-Pinion steering provides easy, smooth steering even in 4-wheel drive. The Prowler also boasts one of the shortest turning radiuses of any 4-wheel-drive utility vehicle. The XTX comes with tilt steering and hydraulic front and rear disc brakes plus a fully automatic transmission.
Prowler 650 H1 XT, 650 H1
Word off the street is this sporty side-by-side is fast becoming one of the most popular UTVs around. Standard or XT, this Prowler is equipped with a 641cc 4-stroke with enough pulling power, midrange and top-end performance to leave the has-beens cowering in your dust. The details are everywhere and they're sure to impress. The new engine air-intake system, muffler and exhaust pipe reduce noise levels. That isn't all. Arctic Cat made subtle changes to the armrests, making it easier to get in and out. Other noteworthy details include front and rear 2-inch receiver hitches, molded nonskid flooring, dual 12V accessory plugs, under-hood storage and a hideaway glove box.
Front and Rear Independent Suspension. The Prowler rises to any occasion with 13 inches of industry leading ground clearance complemented by an independent suspension system with sway bar. 10 inches of front and rear suspension travel will make you feel right at home in most any terrain.
Rack-and-Pinion Steering. Rack-and-Pinion steering provides easy, smooth steering even in 4-wheel drive. It also boasts one of the shortest turning radiuses of any 4-wheel drive utility vehicle.
Digital Instrumentation. The 650 XT comes with easy-to-read digital instrumentation featuring mph, km/h, odometer dual trip, hours, clock, fuel level and gear position indicators. The 650 Standard comes pre-wired for the same digital instrumentation.
Towing. On the work front, the Prowler is rated for 1,500 lbs. of towing capacity and 600 lbs. of hauling capacity in the rear box. The Prowler employs a 2-inch receiver hitch both front and rear.
Prowler Technology
Electronic Fuel Injection. Electronic fuel injection delivers consistent performance in all conditions and temperatures automatically. Main advantages include instant cold starting, consistent performance regardless of elevation or temperature, and improved fuel efficiency.
Turf Saver Differential. The new rear differential is designed to unlock as you turn the vehicle. It allows the rear tires to spin at varying speeds to avoid tearing up your turf.
Quieter operation. Arctic Cat reduced noise levels thanks to new advances in their air-intake and exhaust systems. They redesigned the carburetor air-intake system and created a 1/4-wave-tuning device to significantly dampen noise levels. In addition, ribbing the sides of the air box further reduced sound levels. Arctic Cat then developed a new muffler and exhaust pipe to further improve overall sound reduction and create a more powerful note.
Ground Clearance. It's an age-old truth. When the going gets rough, the ATVs with best-in-class ground clearance get going. Arctic Cat's fully independent suspension system delivers on all fours. The Prowler boasts a skyscraping 13 inches of ground clearance.
Towing. On the work front, the Prowler is rated for 1,500 lbs. of towing capacity and 600 lbs. of hauling capacity in the rear box. The Prowler employs a 2-inch receiver hitch both front and rear.
