This isn't just the most versatile machine of its size you've ever seen; it's also one of the toughest. To provide the BX24 with the durability, stability and strength needed for heavy-duty work, its frame has been specially reinforced. It has been designed exclusively for the easy attachment of a loader, backhoe, mowers and other implements.
BX24: Features and Loader
Foldable ROPS. A foldable, quick-adjust Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS) comes standard on the BX24. Fold it from 180o to 90o without tools -- perfect for passing under areas with height constraints. (Note: Kubota recommends that the ROPS be in the up position during most operations.)
Reversible Seat. Switching from loader use to backhoe use is as simple as lift and spin. The BX24's seat easily shifts forward and back with just one touch.
Front Guard. A sturdy and distinctive front grill guard protects the front end, which has been rounded to match the new tractor design.
Front Loader + Mower. Unlike many other tractors, teh BX24 allows you to use it with both the mower and front loader attached. Switch from mowing, to lifting, to hauling and back to mowing easily and quickly -- and without ever leaving your seat.
BX24: Backhoe
Rarely has a backhoe been so powerful yet easy to use.
Completely redesigned and reengineered, the BX24's backhoe is a high-performance excavation tool. New to the BX24's backhoe is a 20o angle of departure, better protection for the hydraulic hoses, a curved boom, more operator legroom, an easy attach/detach system and wider sightlines. Add this to the backhoe's proven reliability and rugged durability, and you have a tool perfect for your everyday tasks as well as your toughest jobs.
20o Angle of Departure. Kubota has increased the BX24's angle of departure to 20o. This makes it easier to load the tractor onto trailers without removing the backhoe and it allows you to ascend steeper inclines.
Levers. For the first time, the BX24 comes with a lever boot on the bottom part of the lever. This offers increased durability and smoother operation.
Protected hoses. The hydraulic hoses have been tucked inside the backhoe boom. This improvement helps to increase the longevity of the hoses by protecting them from damage and the elements.
Curved Boom. The new curved boom of the BX24 offers some real advantages. Its arched design allows you to dig deeper, keeping the boom out of the way of the edges of the excavation area. It also increases the lifting height.
Wide View. The new BX24 design offers you greater visibility by tucking the hydraulic hoses inside the backhoe boom.
More Legroom. The operator's step in front of the backhoe has been widened, offering a more accommodating leg and foot area.
Easy Implement Attach/Detach. The compact backhoe is equipped with a no-tools-required, 4-point attach/detach mounting system. This makes attaching or detaching the backhoe and front loader, as well as many other implements, a snap.
