Feather-Step Hydrostatic Transmission
Tackle any task with the unmatched power and ease of the Grand L30's Feather-Step HST. Its exclusive hydraulic servo system provides a smoother, pedal shifting operation that is precise and responsive. Our HST is also low on shock and vibration, but high on performance and reliability, which helps minimize operator fatigue.

GST
Glide Shift Transmission
Kubota has added four additional forward speeds for a total of twelve clutchless gears in one easy, handshift GST lever. More GST speeds mean more options, which translate into greater efficiency. And the Grand L30's electronically controlled hydraulic GST delivers shift-on-the-go, for smooth and responsive operation. It's ideal for implement-assisted work, as well as jobs that require the user to maintain a constant speed.

FST
Fully Synchronized Main and Shuttle Transmission
Kubota's FST outperforms the competition with its smooth and efficient on the go shifting of eight forward and eight reverse gears. Its ease of operation, fast directional changes and reliability make it perfectly suited for tillage or front loader work.

HST: Feather-Step Hydrostatic Transmission
The Feather-Step HST provides an exclusive hydraulic servo mechanism that reduces the amount of pressure required to depress the HST pedal. A more responsive pedal means smoother performance with increased control, regardless of the load size.
 The Feather-Step HST's hydraulic servo also reduces shock, vibration, noise and fatigue for an overall improvement in tractor performance and operator comfort. What's more, the Grand L30's L5030 model offers the highest horsepower tractor with an HST transmission in its class.
Cruise Control
For a simple and efficient way to keep working speeds constant on any terrain, the Grand L30's stepless, lever-type cruise control is the way to travel. Use the lever to smoothly set, increase/decrease, or resume your desired speed. And eliminate the guesswork by using the intellipanel to precisely monitor your travel speed.
 The cruise control lever is conveniently located on the left side of the operator's seat for easier setting. Simpler than button and pedal combination systems, our lever lets you select and maintain the perfect travel speed for reduced operator fatigue. And that's important when you're working long hours.
 GST: Glide Shift Transmission
The Grand L30's electronically controlled and clutchless GST gives you 12 forward and 8 reverse clutchless, shift-on-the-go fears using only one lever. And with the optional creep speed (ROPS model), the GST system can be upgraded to 24 forward and 16 reverse gears (standard on cab models). Quick, smooth and precise shifting virtually eliminates engine power loss during front loader or rear cutting work. More speeds reduce overall work time and fuel consumption for increased operating efficiency.
FST (2WD/4WD models): Fully Synchronized Main and Shuttle Transmission
The Grand L30's economical and reliable transmission choice is the FST. This highly efficient 8 forward and 8 reverse gear transmission is fully synchronized for easy and smooth shift on the go operation. The days of bringing the tractor to a complete stop are over. Now, simply step on the clutch, shift and go. And with Kubota's Double-Cone Synchro-Shuttle, faster and smoother forward/reverse directional changes are possible. The double-cone design makes shuttle shifting lighter and easier for instant responses, especially during front loader work.
