Your most essential tractor features are found on these tractors. Kubota clearly designed these workhorses to provide the greatest power and comfort in a utility tractor.

Kubota's unique E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) indirect injection Diesel Engine provides greater power and higher torque with low noise and vibration. This environmentally friendly engine also produces cleaner emissions, meeting EPA standards. M4900 and M5700 models also boast increased PTO horsepower of 2 to 3 compared to previous models. For added convenience, a 4-position key-operated switch can stop the engine.

The M4900 and M5700 use the same type of 8F/8R transmission as the M8200 and M9000 models. This increases productivity, especially when using loaders. Shifting between forward and reverse can now be achieved smoothly and quickly, without the need to stop. For added convenience, the synchro-shuttle lever is located within easy reach of the steering column. Synchronized four speeds of the main shift, in combination with high/low range speeds, allow a reliable transmission range of 8F/8R. Faster travel speeds decrease transport time, increasing efficiency. Note, too, the optional creep speed kit makes it 12F/12R (field installed option).

Work efficiency is increased under most conditions with Kubota's bevel gear type 4WD system by providing equal pulling power at all steering angles as well as a shorter turning radius. The bevel gears are completely sealed, only requiring routine maintenance.

Hydrostatic power steering makes tractor operation easy and reduces operator fatigue, especially during loader applications.




Hydraulic Shuttle Transmission (M5700 only).

With the newly developed Hydraulic Shuttle Transmission, shifting between forward and reverse can now be achieved smoothly and quickly, without the need to depress the clutch pedal. This will increase productivity especially when using loaders. For added convenience, the hydraulic shuttle lever is located within easy reach on the steering column. The main shift synchronized four speeds, in combination with the high/low range speeds, allow a reliable transmission range of 8F/8R. Faster travel speeds decrease transtport time, increasing efficiency. Note too, the optional creep speed kit makes it 12F/12R (field installed option).

With the hydraulic Independent PTO, smooth engagement is automatically provided. A PTO brake provides smooth stopping and retains the PTO shaft. The shaft rotates 60 degrees for easy hook-up with the engine off.

The category I and II 3-point hitch has an adjustable top link, crank-type lift rod and telescopic stabilizers to provide faster, easier attachment of rear-mounted implements.

Plenty of leg room exists on the deck, with added space provided by hanging pedals. The ISO-(isolated) mounted deck, with rubber mat, greatly reduces vibration, minimizing operator fatigue.

Now on the M4900 and M5700 models, you have the same Deluxe Integral Cabs used on our popular M6800/M8200/M9000 models. Equipped with excellent visibility, a full-flat deck, right-side console, deluxe seat, tilt steering, and dual-level air conditioner, all working together to maximize operator comfort. The one-piece full open hood allows easy maintenance by providing easy access to the engine compartment.

The high performance LA1002 front loader has been redesigned for easier attachment and detachment with new boom stands and mounting pins. Developed from Kubota's advanced hyudraulic technology, it provides these tractors with a powerful lifting force. Best of all, it's simple to operate: all movements are controlled by a single lever. Dual functions are easy; you can dump wile raising the boom, and roll back while lowering the boom simultaneously with extraordinary ease. The joystick control valve offers easy operation and the regenerative dump circuit provides fast dumping time.
