Land Pride's 40 Series offers 3/16" deck material and utilizes a threaded rod to easily offset the hitch by nearly 8".

The gearbox incorporates an over-running clutch that enables the rotor to swing free to a stop when the tractor PTO has been turned off. The rear gate of the mower can be opened for easier discharge in heavy conditions, or left closed for greater mulching capabilities. The 40 Series also offers heavy forged hammers and brush rake teeth.

The 40 Series features 24 forged hammers to shred prunings and to provide a nice clean cut in grass. 13 Adjustable brush rake teeth also keep prunings in the blade patch for maximum mulching. The baffles on the top inside of the deck keep the cut material from clumping together.
