The diesel engine powered G2160 with a versatile 54" mower can be equipped with an optional side grass catcher. This heavy duty model is ideal for users who require the reliability of Kubota's diesel engine technology, plus the dual features of a combination tractor/mower.

The 48" G2160-R48S body is identical to the diesel powered G2160, however, this diesel powered model is specifically designed for mowing. Combined with the 'Direct Shoot' grass catching system, it becomes a powerful garden tool.

The G2460G model is identical to the G2160, but boasts a powerful and efficient gasoline engine that's tops in its class. Its design is based on the durable Kubota engine.

Well, if not, these tractors have power--and lots of it, available in both diesel and gasoline engines. The quiet compact liquid cooled diesel engine produces 21 horsepower for reliable performance, even on the toughest jobs. The quiet, fuel efficient liquid cooled gasoline engine produces 24 horsepower to help you power through any job with confidence. Complete with a 5.8 gallon fuel tank, you can complete a full day's work without stopping to refuel.

These Kubota tractors boast Micro-Computer Controlled Electronic Power Steering, a speed sensitive steering system that allows you precise control of your tractor. The Shaft Drive Transmission System provides smooth power to the mowing unit. And unlike conventional mowers that use belts, Kubota's innovative double belt system drives two separate mower blades, without twisting. (54", 60" mowers) The HST Shaft Drive Transmission System transmits power directly from the engine to the HST via a shaft, and from the HST to the tires by means of a gear train. Maximize durability, minimize power loss while running smoother and quieter.

Well, probably not, but you won't complain about how mowing wears you out. The deluxe High-Back Seat adjusts easily to accommodate most any operator for an increased comfort level. Reposition the seat with just one touch. Lift the mower hydraulically with easy height adjustment; in most cases, cutting height can be easily adjusted without leaving the operator's seat. The mower and grass catcher can be attached and detached in just minutes, alone, with just a few tools.

These tractors are designed to work hard. The hanging-type side discharge midmount mower (pictured, left) is available in 54" or 60", and can be attached to both the G2160 and G2460G tractors. These hanging type mowers place weight on the tractor's tires, delivering increased driving power.

The G2160-R48S "Direct Shoot" is a riding mower that features a three-blade, rear-discharge cutting deck that works to both cut and collect your grass. Unlike other 3-blade side-discharge mowers that utilize a turbine, the G2160-R48S' unique "Direct Shoot" system allows it to cut and channel grass into the integrated rear grass catcher. And because there's no duct on either side of the cutting deck, you can trim on both sides while executing tight turns in either direction. The cutting width is an ample 48". Tree-hugging turns can be accomplished with minimal gaps. The diameter of uncut grass is also smaller.
