That's why we designed our ZD-PRO zero-turn mowers with the kind of powerful, rugged, commercial-grade mowing deck you've always wanted, plus a long list of other superior features. It's everything a demanding business owner like you needs to reach a higher level of performance.

Transmission. For superior durability, we incorporated an integral-type, twin-hydrostatic transmission. Except for an occasional fluid change, its hermetically sealed structure requires no maintenance -- not even a belt change.

PTO Clutch. Thanks to a wear resistant, wet-type, multi-disk, hydraulic PTO clutch, you'll work longer, but not harder. That's because it smoothly transfers power with maximum efficiency. For safety, the PTO clutch is also equipped with an internal brake, which stops the mower blades just seconds after disengagement.

Deluxe Seat. Our ZD-PRO zero-turn mowers come loaded with deluxe features, including standard-deluxe, link-type suspension seats with padded armrests. The seats offer outstanding support and comfort, so you can work longer and feel less fatigued.

Control Panel and Levers. For quick and easy operation, the ZD-PRO's control panel -- which contains the throttle, PTO lever, hydraulic lift lever, hour meter, and ignition switch -- is located to the right of the driver and within easy reach.

Hydraulic Deck Lift and Cutting Height Adjustment Dial. By utilizing hydraulics, the mid-mount mower can be easily raised and lowered. Adjusting cutting height requires only a twist of the height adjustment dial. Both controls are within easy reach of the driver's seat.

Today, Kubota diesel engines are known around the world for their high performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. Kubota diesels offer many advantages over gasoline engines; less fuel consumption, more torque, less emission, and quieter operation, to name just a few. Kubota engines can aggressively take on heavy mowing jobs for extended periods. And, whether it's our 21, 25 or 28 horsepower engine, they all exceed the high expectations of the commercial landscaper.

Safety Start System. Kubota's Safety Start System will only allow the engine to start when the driver is seated, the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is in neutral and the neutral lock is engaged. If the driver leaves his seat for any reason, the engine will automatically shut down.

Smaller Clippings Than Competitors.

Kubota's patent-pending baffle design ensures that grass is repeatedly cut before flowing into the second blade. The second blade cuts grass again before our unique baffling forces clippings into the third blade, where it will be cut and re-cut before being evenly discharged. A smaller discharge opening forces grass to be re-cut by the third blade prior to final discharge.

Flat Mower Deck. Faster cutting is nothing if it doesn't look great. That's why, to ensure a superior cutting performance even at faster speeds, our mower deck utilizes both a flat design and our new baffling system, which forces grass through all three cutting blades as opposed to just one.

New Blade. For a higher quality cut and enhanced performance, Kubota equipped our ZD-PRO zero-turn mowers with sharper blades that hold their edges longer.

Convert your side discharge mower into a dedicated mulching mower by using our interchangeable baffling system. You'll get better results with Kubota's Easy-To-Attach/Detach Mulching System. Made from thick, strong 10-gauge steel, our high-performance, dedicated mulching system produces a super fine mulch. Plus, it lets you mow faster using less power.

ZD-PRO Type When mulch is just right, it falls between the blades of standing grass, leaving a beautiful finish.	Conventional Type If mulch is too long, strands will sit on top of lawn.	Conventional Type If mulch is too fine, unsightly clumping will occur.

7-Gauge Steel Mower Deck. Thanks to our mower deck's fabricated design -- which allowed Kubota to construct it from heavy-duty, 7-gauge (4.5 mm thick) steel -- it also offers incredible strength and durability. It's high-grade, commercial caliber, all the way!

Shaft Drive. No belts. No pulleys. The direct transfer of power from our shaft drive is smooth. Plus, our shaft drive's low-maintenance operation makes it the most dependable choice.

Multi-V Belt/Steel Pulleys. By utilizing heavy-duty, cast-iron pulleys and a multi-V belt, the mower drive system is virtually wear resistant.

Belt Cover. Providing quick access for service, our belt cover allows for easy maintenance plus protection against the elements.
